New for 2026 is our Crazy Circuits Power Chip with AAA Battery pack! This part replaces our CR2032 Coin Cell Battery Chip in all our kits.
This component connects a 2 AA or 2 AAA battery pack to the Crazy Circuits system. To help with building projects, we've added in two requested features! First, a small status LED shows when power is flowing to the system. Second, we've built in Short Circuit protection. If a short is present in your circuit the status LED will turn off and power will stop flowing to your project. This prevents batteries from wearing our or getting uncomfortably hot.
