Solar Science Station

$50.00
Rechargeable Battery Pack

Overview

The Solar Science Station is a non-soldering solar data collector and tool that you build yourself.

The Solar Science Station is designed to record solar data in the classroom or for a science faire project. Use the included digital volt meter and adjustable solar panel to record your local solar energy. Use the ample 6V 200mA solar panel to power external devices through the USB port or banana plugs. It's a great way to power other science projects or create an interactive solar demo.

The kit is 100% reusable which makes it perfect for any science classroom. Just use a screw driver (not included) to assemble or disassemble the project. An external 3AA rechargeable battery pack is available as an add-on (batteries included) to store power collected by the solar panel and turn the Science Station into a portable USB power source!

When using it as part of a classroom activity be sure to check out our free lesson plans and activities, or download our free Solar Science Station eBook. In a classroom environment it's possible to connect several Science Stations together to generate even more energy or model a solar farm.
